Through an underground storage easement, qualified counterparties may seek access to MRP’s carbon sequestration rights for permanent CO₂ storage in suitable underground geological formations.
Reducing Carbon Emissions with EOR
MRP facilitates opportunities to remove CO₂ emissions by injecting and safely storing captured CO₂ permanently within suitable geological formations, including applications associated with enhanced oil recovery.
